Ranch Seasoning (dairy-free)

Who doesn’t love Ranch?! With Super Bowl only a day away, there is always a ranch dip on the table along with an assortment of other iconic Super Bowl Sunday foods.  Instead of buying the ranch packets full of preservatives and other unnecessary ingredients, use this recipe to make your own!

This homemade ranch seasoning can be made with spices you most likely already have in your spice cabinet. Just spoon a teaspoon or so into some sour cream( dairy or non-dairy) to make a dip for chips and veggies, or add some buttermilk and mayonnaise to make it a dressing for salads and wings. It can also be used alone as a flavorful seasoning for grilled chicken or eggs.

  • Tip: for a non-dairy buttermilk, take a cup of your favorite non-dairy milk and add a tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar and let it sit until it curdles.

Ranch Seasoning (dairy-free)

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 tbsp dried dill weed
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt (omit for a salt-free seasoning)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together and store in a jar.
