Hemp seeds come from the plant Cannabis Sativa. Although they come from the same family as marijuana, hemp seeds only contain trace amounts of THC. They do not cause any psychotropic reactions.  Hemp seeds are actually very healthy for you.  They are considered a super food and there are many benefits to consuming them. Here a few…

Protein: In just three tablespoons of hemp seeds are ten grams of protein. They are packed with all the essential amino acids, which make them a complete source of protein.

GLA (gamma-linolenic acid):  Hemp seeds are a great source for GLA. GLA has been shown to help with many health issues such as eczema or other skin disorders, cancer, arthritis, heart disease, and menopause, and PMS.

Fiber: Hemp seeds are a great source of fiber, which aids in digestive health and bowel regularity.
