Ditch the fillers and added sodium and make this homemade taco seasoning in just a few minutes.
Making your own seasonings is a great way to control what goes in them. You can adjust the ingredients to your family’s liking. Want it a bit spicier? Just add some cayenne and/or red pepper. Omit the salt for to keep it sodium-free. I made this taco seasoning in just a couple of minutes with spices I already had in my pantry.
You can also double or triple this recipe to make sure you always have plenty on hand whenever you need it.
This seasoning has many more uses beyond tacos. You can also use it as a seasoning for chicken breasts, sprinkle some into a homemade guacamole or salsa for added flavor, use to flavor chili, or even sprinkle onto some movie night popcorn for added spice and flavor!
So save yourself a trip to the store for that forgotten taco packet and make your own instead!
